The Reform Conference is the premier gathering of the growing and dynamic drug policy reform movement. For the past 25 years, the Drug Policy Alliance has hosted this event, bringing together people working on the full range of drug policy issues from across the United States and around the world to listen, learn, and strategize.
Every couple of years, the Drug Policy Alliance partners with local community organizers in a major U.S. city to produce a multi-day, interactive and educational conference.
The latest Reform Conference, held in Detroit, Michigan, from November 12th-15th 2025, welcomed over 1,800 drug policy advocates. Participants spent their time building community with others committed to finding alternatives to the war on drugs while attending sessions and plenaries given by leading experts from around the world.
We offer scholarship programs to support the attendance of people directly impacted by the drug war and to ensure that the diversity of our movement is reflected in our Reform Conference attendees.
