Thomas Sullivan

Director, Finance and Accounting

Thomas Sullivan was born and raised in Queens, New York. He has spent over eight years in the not-for-profit industry. Thomas worked at Encourage Kids Foundation where he started off as a Database Manager/Accounting Assistant and was eventually promoted to Controller, where he had full oversight over the organization’s financial operations and policies. In addition, he has worked at Global Citizen an international advocacy campaign that is dedicated to ending poverty. Within his role as a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at Global Citizen, he was mainly responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for several stakeholders, contributing to the maintenance of an accurate, up-to-date general ledger, and administering a $50M Operating Expense budget.

Thomas holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Mercy College as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.
