Mike Amador

Development Operations Coordinator

Mike Amador, he/him, is the Development Operations Coordinator. In their role, Mike manages the donor database, providing critical support to help grow our network of donors committed to ending the war on drugs. Mike holds a B.A degree in Anthropology and Global Poverty & Practice from UC Berkeley and an M.S in Global Affairs from NYU. His graduate research focused on the intersectional factors of identity and how service provision centers in New York City were addressing the needs of LGBTQ+ homeless youth. He holds a deep interest in promoting social and economic justice in queer communities and communities of color. Prior to joining DPA, Mike served as a Development Associate at LatinoJustice, a legal defense and education fund focused on changing discriminatory practices via advocacy and litigation.
