How can I get the presidential candidates to talk about drug policy reform? Should Rush Limbaugh go to prison? What is the status of medical marijuana legalization? Can Congress legally ban advertisements that are critical of the drug war? Will the RAVE Act be repealed any time soon?

People from around the world will be asking these questions and more to the country’s preeminent drug policy reformers, Ethan Nadelmann, executive director of the Drug Policy Alliance, and Ira Glasser, former director of the American Civil Liberties Union, during a live online audio chat Tuesday, December 9, at 3 p.m. EST. In addition to asking questions, participants are encouraged to share their own ideas about how to develop and implement more effective drug policies.

“We are excited about the dialogue, strategy and debate that will result from this web chat,” said Nadelmann. “This will be a chance for our fellow reformers to ask us questions, offer their advice and brainstorm about more effective drug policies for the future.”
