Press Release June 7, 2011

Tony Papa was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for a first time non-violent drug offense. His art helped his story get noticed and eventually led to his release from prison and a career in activism fighting against the draconian drug policies to which he was subjected.

This is an excerpt from The Exile Nation Project, directed by Charles Shaw.
