On Sunday, 87 civil rights organizations launched full-page advertisements in The New York Times and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in solidarity with victims of recent acts of hate and bigotry in our country.
The ad, designed by artist Celeste Jacobs, depicts elements of Pittsburgh, Pa., the location of the recent anti-Semitic mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue, and Louisville, Ky., where a white supremacist murdered two African Americans at a Kroger supermarket when the gunman was unable to enter a predominantly Black church.
DPA is proud to stand with these groups to condemn all acts of hate. We urge all victims and witnesses of hate to document their incidents at communitiesagainsthate.org or by calling 1-844-9-NO-HATE.
